Bonny with Kym and family

Meet Bonny’s new family. Little Bonny has landed on her dainty little feet the right way up. Kym had previously applied to adopt little Honey but missed out, so Kym and family were eagerly awaiting another new little friend to come her way. As soon as she spied Bonny Kym was on the phone and facebook to tell us she wanted to adopt her. Because Kym had already filled out an Adoption Application form she was top of the list but had to wait several days as she was travelling and she wanted to be at home to ensure Bonny settled in and became accustomed to her new family. Also a big hug to Kate Bonny’s carer who, with her hubby, drove through storms and rain to bring her back to Hervey Bay and to little Bonny’s forever home. Welcome Kym and family to our growing wonderful Pet Warrior family. We all know Bonny has hit the jackpot and has melted all your hearts already.

Roxy with Robyn and her new Dad from Tin Can Bay

Roxy the beautiful little Foxy lady is on her way to walks on the beach, cuddles on the sofa and lots and lots of fun with her new family. She has another boy pal for company and a new family to care for her and keep her safe. Roxy was found wandering the streets and Kara her carer has done an excellent job of looking after her and patiently awaiting her new family. All of us are so pleased to see another day drawing to a close with another little heartbeating a happy rhythm. Our New Beginnings page is growing by the day thanks to all of you that open your hearts and homes to a pet in need. Thanks Robyn for following your instinct when you saw Roxy’s photo via the web. We know you will all enjoy many special years together.

Hope with new Mum Penny and friend

How good is it to go straight from the Pound to your brand new home? That is the very happy Hope story. Penny enquired about this little Beagle X as soon as we mentioned her via Facebook. At first Penny thought she would foster Hope to make sure she would settle into life with her new canine companion as well as her human companion. But after less than 24 hours Penny has decided to adopt Hope. Hope now has a huge deck, a huge yard and a lovely beautiful house and family to call her own. At Pet Warriors we know that all our families feel complete when they consist of 2 legged and 4 legged members. Thank you Penny for giving this lovely lady her forever home.

Bernie with new Mum Faye and family

Bernie started his new second life today. This big beautiful Ragdoll boy is the chosen one for Faye and her family. We think Bernie will be granted a new name as is fitting with his new status as biggest puss in the household. Bernie is a delightful puss and he is very lucky to have found his new wonderful forever family. Thank you Faye and family for adopting Bernie and welcome to the rapidly growing Pet Warrior family where all our pets get a brand new happy life. Please let us know how Bernie settles in.

William with Johnno

Johnno is already best mates with William whom he calls his spirit cat. You see Johnno had already fallen for William the blue eyed yellow eyed white puss but when his wonderful carer Amanda suggested that William might be deaf Johnno still decided to adopt him. William is definately deaf and he miaows quite loudly at times as he can’t hear himself. But Johnno reckons he stops miaowing as soon as he finds his new best mate. Johnno is another great new Pet Warrior for offering up his home to his new furry mate. William is off to the vet and will be sporting a brand new harness so he can safely wander around the back patio without getting lost. We miss you William but I am sure you don’t miss us with all those extra cuddles you are getting!

Sooty and Valerie

Little Sooty didn’t even make it to the Pets in Need page. Valerie had told us she would like a friendly adult cat to keep her and her puss Lucky company. As luck would have it little Sooty was waiting at the pound for a new home. The timing couldn’t have been better and Sooty took no time in head butting, purring and cuddling up to his new Mum. Sooty is desexed, registered and microchipped and will be wormed and vaccinated. He is happily settling in to his new forever home. Thank you Valerie from all of us here at Pet Warriors for giving this puss a new life.
